A mage that helps Tauroneo in Daein's reconstruction. In Izuka's disappearance, the only replacement that Almedha did not immediately dismiss. Among other scribe duties, she investigates Ashnard's and Begnion's war crimes.

BE: Zihark! it's been one thing after another after releasing all of those prisoners. I never got a chance to thank you for spotting that archer. My lights woulda been out!
Zihark: Anytime. Say, how's being a scribe for His Majesty working out?

Zihark: it was an experience. A very mercifully brief experience.
BE: I bet. Though compared to that creep, dealing with Pelleas is a cakewalk; he's just a kid.

Zihark: My lips are sealed. Truth be told, I imagine working with Lady Almedha is a similar workout in patience.
